FoxTab for Mozilla Firefox is a browser extension that brings an innovative feature to Mozilla Firefox, i.e: Speed Dial. This feature allows you to click on your “Top Sites” and browse them. The “Top Sites” are displayed in a panel, with an image preview, bringing a more stylish look to your browser (as Safari does).
However, unlike the Safari Speed-dial feature, FoxTab takes tab management to a whole new level by bringing in a more 3D feel to the panel. This allows you to flip through tabs with your mouse or keyboard gestures.
One of the things I loved about the FoxTab, apart from its main feature of bringing a more stylish feature into Firefox, was the fact that it did not slow down my computer, nor my browser. In simple words, it was not a heavy app that put a burden on my browser.
